Bowski better know

This Bowski kid did some real damage with B8bit and Fakeblood at Xoyo back in April and hes got a couple of relatively new songs up on his Soundcloud for all to see. Expect rumbling, rolling tracks that get people jiving. Nothing offensive mind, but his set on the night mixed some old and new to good effect.

You probably already know him as part of Fakeblood's label Blood music, so has been nurtured alongside his label owners nights to really raise his game.

Rubix Disco Goodness

Everyone seems to be getting on the Rubix tip right now, so when in rome... Hailing from Amsterdamgoodtimes and rocking an upbeat disco cheekyness, im sure this guy will feature on plenty of peoples playlists for 2010.

You can out his newer bits on Hypem, but i love these two tracks from late 2009 the most. The enthusiasm for producing fun danceable music, especially on the Patrick122-ey 'Baiser sur la disco', which really hits the spot.

Hostage - Dubtch

Its pretty clear that Hostage gets alot of attention on this blog, but its usually because each track he produces is either really good or really different. Whether its a dubstep, electro or in this case a dubby/housey hybrid tune, there is always something new to get burnt onto your next batch of CDs.

I would definately recommend following Hostage on Twitter, just because he drops little electro nuggets to his followers here and there.. Pretty much always in 320kbps too. huzzaah

Dubfire Cocoon Manchester

This posting hiatus must end... To get back in the saddle, this weekend will be occupied by a certain Cocoon night at manchesters infamous Warehouse project. Topping the bill is Iranian half of Deep dish, Dubfire who will be banging out dark techno throughout the night no doubt... You will all probably know most of the classics, such as the club behemoth that is Dubfires remix of Grindhouse by Radio Slave:



Also a certain Spastik tune that got hit hard by a number of big electro DJs throughout 2008:



And the gritty, rolling 'Diablo' which which was made in collaboration with Oliver Huntemann - gotta love it. See you all there, its going to be big.
