Drums of Death

Theres always a lot of love for something new or a bit quirky in electro.. We are a fickle bunch that get through sub-genres like a pack of wotsits. Genres come and go until they get done to death and then we all get bored again. The dubstep influence can be felt heavily in electro production of recent, carving out a new path for electro sounds in general. Gone are the days of Justice, the distorted pioneers of recent years.. They have been nudged aside to make way for wonky, cheeky and grimey bass.

Drop the lime is gaining status all the time and does so for his originality and ability to try new things. Drums of Death is no different, merging bassline, electro, grime, garage and dubstep into crazy concoctions of sound. It seems fitting that Drums of Death makes a great effort of remixing DTL's 'Hear me', melting the housey vocals with careful orchestral builds, stompy bass and mischevous scattered drums.
