Easy peeps.. Welcome to my electro / techno / whatever music blog! Just a quick notice:
All of this music on here is for evaluation purpose ONLY! If you own any of this music and want it removed email me at scottynaispas at gmail [dot] com and i will attempt to get the stuff taken off straight away.
Buy these records and MP3 at places like Beatport, Juno and iTunes support the artist and go to their show and buy their records!
I do worry for the Crookers street cred if they head down that "mainstream" path, but for now, in this moment, this track fucking owns it! Crookers - What up Y'all / (Y.S.I)

ha cool first heard this at a warehouse rave in london they did. pretty banging tune!
i love how elitist people get when something little known becomes well-known.
people feel they are somehow 'cooler' because it isn't being played on mainstream radio or being stocked in HMV! it's like they feel a sense of (virtual) ownership.
it's mine! no, you can't like it, too! how dare you?! it's mine, i tell you! i'm cool. you are not. if you like it too, what does that make me?
i wonder if crookers one true wish was that their music was only bought, loved and played by a handful of people or, millions?

I was very much worried when Day&Nite remix started playing on commercial Sydney radio.. but I very much like this track ♥
if electro was mainstream that'd be my dream
worried about their "street cred?"

Even the giant main road will copy seven rungs of ploppy scoop.
